40 MHz real-time spectrum analysis with the SignalShark
The SignalShark offers you reliable detection of extremely short and rare events within the 40 MHz real-time bandwidth. It calculates the spectrum by applying the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to overlapping time segments of the underlying IQ data within its real-time bandwidth.
At least as important: the Propability of Intercept (POI). It describes how short a signal may be so that it is captured in every case and without level reduction. Influencing variables are, for example, the maximum resolution bandwidth RBW, the sampling rate, the length of the FFT windows and their overlap. In all these respects, the SignalShark is in no way inferior to conventional laboratory analyzers.
Monitoring with the SignalShark
With its ITU-approximate spectrum monitoring dynamics, a second receiver path and demodulators, the SignalShark is a perfect monitoring receiver. The high dynamic range (HDR) ensures that you can reliably detect even the weakest signals in the presence of very strong signals. This is a basic requirement for most tasks in the field of radio monitoring. A so-called preselector also makes it possible to suppress frequency ranges that could interfere with the measurement.
Localization with the SignalShark
Thanks to its high signal sensitivity, the SignalShark can also detect, assign and demodulate distant signals. It is then often necessary to localize their origin. Narda offers a large number of automatic and directional antennas for this purpose. Each with unique properties, and in combination with the SignalShark an unbeatable team.
For example, with Narda's automatic direction finding antenna (ADFA) and the very powerful mapping and localization firmware, you can obtain reliable bearings in no time at all. The bearing results are processed by the SignalShark without an external PC. Localization has never been so easy!
